Dragon

     I think I saw a dragon today. It looked like a long serpent, but it had legs and arms with shiny claws. He had sharp teeth and a steamy mouth. It was so steamy that I thought he was going to blow fire at me. He had scales as shiny as gems. Speaking of gems, it was guarding gems and gold. he was very aggressive. He had wings as big as three condors. But on the other hand, he was lonely and puppyish. I wish I could adopt the Dragon, but he had a job to do...guard the gold & gems.

    This is a lovely imaginative piece. Well done. I especially like the end line where the dragon has a job to do. It closes up the description very tidily but in an interesting way. I like the specific details, too. "He had wings as big as three condors." This not only tells how huge he was but also is a nice way of grouping the condor image into your dragon description making it seem real.
